Medication
Medication treatment is often an integral part of mental health treatment and can be administered concomitantly to the psychological treatment. As a psychologist, one has a basic understanding of how most psychotropical medication works and is also to a degree familiar with the most commonly used medications. But it is not a psychologist‘s remit to prescribe or give advice on medication. For this reason, I have spoken to a number of pharmaceutical companies and they all recommended an independent website, which can advise on everything related to psychotropic medication. With their permission, I added their links to most mental health conditions, and the medication treatment available for them. I ordered the links alphabetically, according to the conditions. So all you need to do is to scroll down this page, find the heading and click on the link. It will take you straight to their website and the precise information you need.
