CLINICAL TERMS
Personal details: To ensure the patient’s safety, full personal details are required, including details of your G.P. and/or psychiatrist; details of your next of kin (this should be a person I could contact in case of an emergency). Any personal details are absolutely confidential and will only be utilised in case your safety or that of someone you know is deemed to be at risk.
Confidentiality: The psychologist has the ethical and professional obligation to treat any private and personal information with absolute confidentiality so as to protect the patient’s privacy and identity. However, if the patient is deemed to be harmful to themselves or others, the psychologist may disclose. Equally, if the patient is involved in litigation the psychologist may be asked by a court of law to disclose. In any event, the psychologist will endeavour to obtain an informed consent before any disclosure. However, if the client refuses and any of the above scenarios apply then the psychologist has the ethical and professional duty to disclose.
Information: Any information and/or suggestions, opinions, interpretations you find on this website or are given by Elisabeth Robson in a context of a session are not to be regarded as direct advice. It is the individual’s responsibility to evaluate the information and the relevance to their lives and any decisions that they may make as a result, is their sole responsibility and liability.
Emergencies: This website is not there to deal with any kind of emergency. Individuals using this website or patients who have online sessions are required to contact their G.P. or NHS Direct or attend the accident and emergency services.
The above terms and conditions are in accordance with the British Psychological Society’s Ethical and Professional Guidelines.
Payments terms
Liability: Patients are directly liable for any payments. Patients who have a private insurance and require receipts in order to claim can ask for an account statement. However, please check with your insurance first, as some insurance companies will only reimburse you if a G.P. or consultant has referred you.
Cancellations: A patient failing to keep an appointment is liable to pay or the time reserved. For cancellations, a 48-hour notice is required, in order to reschedule your session. There will be no refund, however you could use your entitlement to book another session. If Elisabeth Robson cancels a session you could choose to either have your money refunded or to re–schedule.

CMK-Psychology owns and operates this website. We are committed to the privacy and security of our visitors’ information. The following is a statement of our privacy practices:
Information Collected
- Your personal information is not required to visit http://cmk-psychology.com
- Any personal information collected is knowingly provided by you and only when requested/required during account registration for interactive participation on http://cmk-psychology.com and during the ordering process
Traffic Data
- Your IP address is a numeric address assigned to your computer, assigned by your Internet service provider. We automatically collect your IP address as traffic data so that we can send information back to you when requested. This is not used to identify your personal information.
- Referrers are references to the web address you linked from and is automatically passed along by your web browser. We collect referrers your browser sends as part of traffic data. This is not attached to personally identifiable information.
- System information such as your operating system/platform, and the type of web browser you use. This is not attached to personally identifiable information.

- Your information is maintained on a secure web server in what we believe to be a well protected environment.
- CMK-Psychology only shares personal information to billing companies for completing transactions and for no other purpose. No other information is shared with any other third-party company for any purpose, under any circumstance.
- CMK-Psychology makes every effort to preserve your privacy, personal information may be disclosed when required by law where we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process.
Cookies

Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Correcting, Updating, Deleting & Deactivating Personal Information

This can usually be done at the ‘Your Account’ page or by contacting our Customer Service.
